The Grand Master Chen ZhengLei

Chen ZhengLei,19th generation of the Chen family and 11th generation direct-line successor of Chen Family Taijiquan, is a renowned master of Chen-style Taijiquan. Born in 1949 in Chenjiagou, the birthplace of Taiji, Chen ZhengLei began his training at a young age under the guidance of his uncle, Chen Zhaopi and then by Chen Zhaokui, son of the great Chen Fake.

Chen ZhengLei dedicated himself to mastering the art, eventually becoming one of the most prominent figures in the Taiji community. He is recognized as one of four “Buddha’s Warrior Attendants (Si Jingang),” the four outstanding exponents of the 19th generation in Chenjiagou among Chen Xiaowang, Wang Xian and Zhu Tiancai.

Throughout his career, Chen ZhengLei has traveled extensively to promote and teach Chen-style Taijiquan, sharing his knowledge and expertise with students around the world. He is known for his deep understanding of Tai Chi principles, his precise and powerful movements, and his ability to transmit the essence of the art to his students. Chen ZhengLei has also authored several books on Taiji, preserving and promoting the traditional teachings of Chen-style Taijiquan.

Today, Chen ZhengLei continues to teach and inspire practitioners of Taijiquan, upholding the rich legacy of the art and serving as a living embodiment of its principles. His dedication to preserve the authenticity and integrity of Chen-style Taijiquan has earned him widespread recognition and respect in the martial arts community.
